Frequently asked questions

Where do the default rates come from?

From eBay’s official selling fees pages for eBay.com, for most categories with no store subscription, checked on 27 October 2026. Some categories (for example certain clothing, collectibles, jewellery or business equipment) and store subscribers pay different rates, so change the fields to match your case.

Can I use this for eBay UK, Germany, Australia or another site?

Yes. Choose “Other marketplace or my own rates”, select your currency and type in the rates from your eBay site’s fee page. The tiered rate and per-order fee fields can be set to 0 if your site does not use them.

Does eBay charge fees on shipping?

Yes. The final value fee is charged on the total amount of the sale, which includes shipping and handling charged to the buyer.
