How to use the eBay Final Value Fee Calculator
- Enter the total sale amount, including shipping charged.
- Add the sales tax rate if eBay collects sales tax on the order.
- Check the rates for your category, then press Calculate.
Formula
Percentage part = min(total, tier limit) × main rate + max(0, total − tier limit) × higher-tier rate
Final value fee = percentage part + per-order fee (smaller fee for orders up to the limit, larger above)
Examples
- 120 total, default eBay.com rates: 120 × 13.6% = 16.32 + 0.40 = 16.72.
- 9,000 total: 7,500 × 13.6% + 1,500 × 2.35% = 1,020 + 35.25, plus 0.40 = 1,055.65.
